For guidance one can appeal to ones higher self.
Note that all is one with God,
but an entity can only be as perfect as a fragment.
All entities are composed of light.

When appealing to your higher self many a mind may answer your call.
So beware for there are nomadic lower spirits encased in anger, fear and lack.
It is the free will of the lower vibrations that they stay there,
so they must be let go to live with their own.
By the virtue of having a higher vibration you may rise above the realm they inhabit.

There are many ways of raising vibration:
having clean and pure thoughts (through a combination of meditation and positive affirmation),
eating high vibrational foods (fruits and vegetables),
giving and receiving peace love and harmony.

So if you do seek guidance from a spirit keep in mind that it is much like the real world,
you attract what you are, so be that which you wish to attract.
Though you can cast a filter on what entities you wish to interact with by simply stating some of their characteristics before requesting contact.
For instance stating "only the highest truest and most loving" at least momentarily changes your vibrations to the concepts reverberating through your electromagnetic field making you susceptible to interacting with like vibrations.
